Nearly 100 years of expertise
Created in 1929 on a Franco-American initiative led by Justin Godart and inaugurated in 1937 by the President of the Republic, Albert Lebrun, the Foch Foundation took root in an uncertain socioeconomic context. As such, the Foch Foundation has always asserted its ambition

Today, Foch Hospital’s activities are based on three main missions: care, education and research. Our institute offers 640 beds and places, and annually tallies nearly 65,000 hospitalizations, 200,000 outpatient visits, 15,000 surgical stays and 65,000 emergency visits. Foch Hospital is the leader in several medical specialties in France, with a strong predominance of oncology, particularly in oncological surgery. Education
Through Foch Santé Formation and based on national academic standards, our establishment aims to be a reference in the training of medical and paramedical staff. Indeed, Foch Hospital has a school of nursing and a school of midwifery. We also offer healthcare professionals the
opportunity to train under real conditions with our healthcare simulation platform and high-fidelity simulators for surgery, ICU, neurosurgery, and others.
Research
All our medical activity is integrated into a research programme with 90 researchers and over 450 international publications per year.

International activity at Foch Hospital
International activity at Foch Hospital Foch Hospital’s international development is based on three main missions: hospital care through the treatment of international patients, the transfer of skills and the exchange of expertise through research and training, and finally the provision of consultancy services and cooperation through partnerships and international projects.
Care
Foch Hospital has a dedicated international unit with a capacity of 14 beds. Approximately 1000 international patients coming from more than 65 countries are welcomed each year by a dedicated multilingual medical and administrative team.
90% of the needs of international patients in terms of diagnosis, treatment and medical follow-up are provided directly by Foch Hospital. When necessary, Foch Hospital does not hesitate to rely on its solid network of partners in order to offer the best possible care.

Foch Hospital supports its international partners in their medical projects by carrying out audits, drafting medical projects and medical strategies abroad. All in all, the optimal care and satisfaction of our international patients remains a priority for our Hospital. In this
regard, after being audited by AFNOR certification, the International Department of the Foch Hospital was awarded the French Hospital Quality label by the French Healthcare Association.
