Hotel Panarams in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted a scientific workshop “Urogynecological Diseases: Pathophysiology, Differential Diagnostics, Treatment and Guidelines”. Then, Professor Inna Apolokhina, Dr. habil. med., the Head of Aesthetic Gynecology and Rehabilitation Department at Federal Government Budgetary Institution “Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation spoke on topics of “Phytopharmacology for management of climacteric disorders” and “Risks, diagnostics and treatment of benign breast diseases.”
Presentations titled “Metaphylaxis of urolithiasis” and “Uncomplicated urinary tract infections: the place of antibiotic therapy” were delivered by Professor Dmitrij Nitkin (Minsk, Belarus) from Urology and Nephrology Teaching Department at Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
Also, presentations were made by Professor Asilbek Gaybullaev, the Head of the Department of Urology and Andrology of the Center for Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of EMU University, Professor Farkhad Akilov, Head of the Urology Department at Tashkent Medical Academy and Chairman of Scientific Society of Urologists of Uzbekistan, and Gulsara Eshimbetova, Professor of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine at the Center for Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
