Opening of JSC “ADAMED PHARMA” Office in Uzbekistan

On October 10, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted the opening of a new office of a Polish Pharamaceutical Company Adamed Pharma JSC, which has had its representative office in Uzbekistan since 2020. The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan, Radoslaw Gruk, Board Members of Adamed Pharma (Poland) Sylwia Berdzik-Kalarus, Tomasz Krzak as well as guests of the event – Academician Ravshanbek Davletovich Kurbanov, Professor Ulugbek Karimovich Kayumov, Professor Mirvasit Mirvasikovich Karimov and other leading physicians and scholars of Uzbekistan.

In her speech, Sylwia Berdzik-Kalarus, Board Member, Director of Commercial Operations and Business Development of Adamed Pharma JSC, emphasized that the company maintains cooperation with leading universities and research institutes both in Poland and abroad, and plans to actively develop its operations in Uzbekistan through investments.

Marcin Rolnicki, General Manager for Central Asia of Adamed Pharma JSC, mentioned that the company expects to introduce more than twenty new molecules in cardiology and other fields of medicine to the market by 2026.

Tomasz Krzak, Board Member, Director for Personnel, Culture and Organizational Development of Adamed Pharma JSC noted that Adamed signed a memorandum of cooperation with Tashkent Medical Academy, whereby Adamed Pharma financed eight research grants to support young talents among students in Tashkent.

Sales and Marketing Director Foreign Affiliates at Ademed, Wojciech Nalecz, stated that opening an office in Uzbekistan was a significant and long-awaited event.

Presence in the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan enables the company to share its experience of sourcing innovative solutions, to improve existing pharmaceutical products, to develop new ones and make them widely available.

The Head of Adamed Pharma’s Representative Office, Dinara Ibadullayeva, said that company’s motto was: “Innovations start here.” She also noted that the company strives constantly to find innovative treatments. This contributes to improvements in the quality of medicines, makes them effective and safe for most patients. Research and development are the pillars on which the company builds its operations.

Adamed Pharma JSC is a Polish family-owned pharmaceutical and biotechnology company that manufactures more than 500 products offered to patients in nearly 80 countries.
